2004-06-11 - 6:40 a.m. Homeward Bound! Let me start with the for-most thing on my mind: I can't wait!!!!! After a whole year away from home, I'm afraid that it'll be like getting hit with a gigantic brick of counter-culture shock, where I am suddenly a stranger in my own homeland. The food will be a lot greasier, sweeter, and much more serving-wise. The width of the road will be over-the-top. And the beach, oh the beach, is open for much more than just, say, 3 weeks before the jellyfish roll in. I'm so excited. I want to eat my mom's cooking. I want to annoy all those people that I totally miss, and I know (hope?) miss me right back. So, according to the piece of paper I recieved after I paid for my ticket, I leave July 21st and stay till Aug. 26th. You see me smiling? You getting the 'Welcome Back' banner ready? Sorry.
